1. Can you put a sticker on a credit or debit card?
Yes. A quality credit card sticker is designed to leave the chip uncovered and keep the card number and expiry date visible, so the card works exactly as before. Your card remains the property of your bank, so if you are unsure, check your card issuer's terms.
2. Will my card still work at ATMs and card machines?
Yes. The chip is left uncovered by a precise cut-out and the vinyl is ultra-thin, so your card slides into ATMs and chip and PIN terminals as normal. The magnetic stripe on the back is never covered.
3. Do credit card stickers block contactless payments?
No. The contactless antenna sits inside the card, and our thin, non-metallic vinyl does not interfere with it, so you can keep tapping to pay as usual.
4. Do credit card stickers damage your card?
No. The adhesive is designed to hold firmly and release cleanly. Peel the sticker off slowly from one corner and it comes away without residue or marks on the card underneath.
5. What size are credit card stickers?
Our stickers are cut to the standard bank card size of 85.6 × 54 mm, used by Visa, Mastercard and most Irish bank cards, with openings around the chip.
6. Can I use a card sticker on an embossed card?
Card stickers work best on flat cards. If your card has raised numbers, the sticker will not sit flush, so we recommend it only for flat, non-embossed cards.
7. Can I design my own credit card sticker?
Yes. Upload your own photo, name or artwork and we'll print a custom credit card sticker made to order. It makes a thoughtful, low-cost gift.
