Credit card sticker: a small upgrade for the card you use every day
Think about how often you take out your bank card: for a coffee on the way to work, at the supermarket, on the bus, at the petrol station and online at night. It is probably the object you handle most after your phone, and yet it looks almost exactly like everyone else's. Credit card stickers change that in seconds. Will a sticker affect my chip, contactless or ATM payments?
No, and this is the most important thing to know. Every design has a precise cut-out around the chip, so chip and PIN terminals and ATMs read your card as normal. Contactless keeps working too, because the antenna sits inside the card and reads straight through our thin, non-metallic vinyl. The sticker only covers the front, so the magnetic stripe and signature panel on the back are never touched. Keep your card number and expiry date visible, and you can tap, insert and pay at every till, cash machine and online checkout across Ireland exactly as before.

Our stickers are cut to the standard bank card size of 85.6 × 54 mm, the format used by Visa, Mastercard and most Irish bank cards, so they sit flush with the edges without overhanging. The vinyl is water-resistant and wipe-clean, which means it copes with daily life in wallets, pockets and purses. Because the adhesive is designed to release cleanly, you can change your design whenever you like without leaving sticky marks. For the best result, use them on flat cards: cards with raised, embossed numbers are not suitable.

How to apply and remove a card sticker
Applying a card sticker takes about a minute and needs no tools. Wipe the front of your card with a soft, dry cloth, line up the chip cut-out first, then lower the sticker onto the card and smooth it from the centre outwards to push out any air. When you fancy a change, peel it back slowly from one corner and it comes away cleanly, with no residue and no damage to the card underneath. Still have questions? 1. Can you put a sticker on a credit or debit card?
Yes. A quality credit card sticker is designed to leave the chip uncovered and keep the card number and expiry date visible, so the card works exactly as before. Your card remains the property of your bank, so if you are unsure, check your card issuer's terms.
2. Will my card still work at ATMs and card machines?
Yes. The chip is left uncovered by a precise cut-out and the vinyl is ultra-thin, so your card slides into ATMs and chip and PIN terminals as normal. The magnetic stripe on the back is never covered.
3. Do credit card stickers block contactless payments?
No. The contactless antenna sits inside the card, and our thin, non-metallic vinyl does not interfere with it, so you can keep tapping to pay as usual.
4. Do credit card stickers damage your card?
No. The adhesive is designed to hold firmly and release cleanly. Peel the sticker off slowly from one corner and it comes away without residue or marks on the card underneath.
